Elon Musk handed out $1 million checks at a political rally in Wisconsin to individuals who signed a petition opposing so-called “activist judges.”
He claims it was "grassroots engagement." Sorry, Elon. That's bribery.
It's paying for votes, and it's blatantly illegal.
Here’s the kicker: Wisconsin’s Supreme Court refused to block these payments – even after Attorney General Josh Kaul warned they may violate federal election laws.
Thankfully, actual grassroots supporters banded together and defeated Elon Musk's pro-Trump candidate. But we cannot allow billionaires like Musk to rewrite the rules. He must be held accountable before he tries it again.
