Hi, it’s Deb Haaland. The campaign to become the next governor of my beautiful home state of New Mexico means so much to me — and I’m so proud to have the Democratic Party of Georgia on our team. Right now, we’re building a fierce, people-powered, community-centered movement to change the game for New Mexico. But, we’re also facing a big challenge: April 7 marks our first public reporting deadline. And it’s a really important one. You see, we’re facing a competitive and expensive race, with MAGA forces trying to flip control of this state and our state government. If our first fundraising report is weak, it’ll invite far-right smear campaigns, outside spending, and potential right-wing opponents. And with Donald Trump in the White House, we need a fighter who’s fierce enough to stand up for New Mexicans. That’s why my team and I set a very ambitious goal of raising $150,000 online by April 7 to show that momentum and grassroots support are on our side — and it’s why I’m humbly asking:
