That’s right, we just held a special election for a state senate seat here in PA in a district that strongly supported Donald Trump, and it flipped for Democrats.

This stunning win should be seen as a strong rebuke against Trump and the GOP’s threats to life-saving programs, jobs, and our rights. This newly blue seat in a deep red district demonstrates the public outcry and desire for new leadership to fight back against this GOP trifecta, both at the local level and in Washington.

And that gives me hope for this cycle. I feel a strict responsibility to do everything in my power to take back the House majority and continue organizing for local races. The people want stability and change: lower costs, accessible healthcare, more security for their families. And I will help bring it.
