Trump’s tariffs are a disaster that are putting the U.S. and Texas economies at risk. That’s why we have to turn up the pressure on Republicans right now, before it’s too late.

Economists estimate that Trump’s trade war will cost the average household nearly $4,000 this year alone and will increase inflation at least two percentage points. 

And experts say Texas may be the state hit hardest by Trump’s trade war.

Given our state’s relationship with our neighbor Mexico, economists estimate that Texas is poised to lose at least 370,000 jobs each year, and up to $47 billion in economic output due to Trump’s tariffs. 

That’s why we have to turn up the pressure on Republicans in Congress right now, before they wreck our state and our country’s economy.
