First, thank you for helping me reach our online fundraising goal before Monday’s big deadline. It might seem like the next election is far away, but grassroots support right now really, truly matters in our fight to win back the House — and this team has never, not once, let me down. I wouldn’t be where I am without you.

And second, I want to say thank you for staying in the fight even when what we’re up against is so exhausting, relentless, and infuriating on a daily basis. Donald Trump would do anything to distract from this fact, but it’s true:

Trump is nowhere near as powerful as he pretends to be, and we’ve shown again and again that he’s beatable when we stand together.

Three days ago, Democrats across the country came together to defeat Trump and Musk’s handpicked candidate in a critical Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

In the weeks leading up to that race, we flipped tough seats in special elections and local races across the country that no one even thought would be competitive.

We’ve also won one court battle after another to stop Trump from abusing his power — beating back some efforts to fire federal workers, steal funding from critical federal programs that families rely on, attack LGBTQ+ Americans, and give away our private information.

And we’ve seen, quite frankly, that Elon Musk is toxic, that the American people won’t sit quietly while he tries to steal their Social Security or their health care, and that the public is overwhelmingly on the side of the Democrats who are fighting hard to protect working families.

We’ve got some more very tough fights ahead of us, and I can’t promise we’ll win all of them. But I can promise that I will keep fighting with everything I’ve got to stand up for you and for your democracy. And that, if we stay together in this fight, we will get through this and build a brighter future where right-wing extremists no longer get to control our government.
