In a recent interview, Trump’s billionaire Commerce Secretary claimed that seniors “won’t care” if they don’t receive their Social Security checks and called those who complained about delays “fraudsters.” Republicans are gunning to slash Social Security, and they even have the audacity to make bogus claims like this one on TV. The truth is that they are so out of touch with the American people, showing time and again that they’re only willing to cater to their billionaire friends. Martin stands with our seniors who depend on Social Security, and he’ll do whatever it takes to protect this essential program — because our seniors deserve dignity and security after a lifetime of work.
