I'm resharing this message with you because it's that important. We are facing a national crisis. Our democracy is under attack by power grabs on multiple fronts. Key programs essential for our communities, seniors, veterans, children, and those with disabilities, are under threat, including Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and veterans' benefits. Immigrants who speak for Palestinian rights are being pulled off the street by unidentified men. People are being rounded up, deported without due process, and detained indefinitely in a notorious prison in El Salvador. Your national parks, your air, and your water are being sold out. And while all this is happening, far too many universities, law firms, and institutions are silent or complicit. A coaltion has come together to fight back, demanding hands off our rights--from free speech to our courts to fair elections. We are joining hundreds of thousands of people this Saturday and also centering Gaza.

On April 5th, we are asking you to show up to demand “Hands Off Our Students! Hands Off Gaza!!” This will be the largest mass protest since January 20, and we need you.
