I vowed to fight back against the Trump agenda, and here is one example of what I have been up to:

I am proud to have introduced the Hunger Free Future Act, a bill to protect SNAP from Republican plans to cut vital food assistance.

As a reminder, the House Republican budget resolution, passed in February, calls for $230 billion in cuts to SNAP. My bill would block Republican efforts to fund tax cuts by making backdoor cuts to SNAP benefits through so-called reforms to the Thrifty Food Plan.

Here’s my message to Donald Trump and Elon Musk: Take your hands off SNAP!

With this bill, we are making it clear that we won't stand by as Republicans gut food assistance to help the ultra-wealthy buy another yacht.
