President Biden’s EPA was more interested in pursuing the green dream and appeasing the climate lobby than making energy more affordable for Montanans. The rules and regulations they slapped on Montana’s own Colstrip power plant would force it to hike rates on consumers or shut down, which would cause blackouts across Montana.
That is why I’m working with Montana’s congressional delegation and the Trump administration to ensure Colstrip is exempt from these unnecessary and burdensome mandates so that Montanans always have access to affordable power.
