When VA Chaplain Trubey preached a sermon from Romans 1, he had no idea his supervisor would start a firestorm that not only threatened his career, but also could have impacted the ability for all VA chaplains to preach freely.
Thankfully U.S. Secretary of Affairs Doug Collins has made it clear that the government has no business censoring anyone’s sermon.
That includes the sermons of VA chaplains.
