This week, Justice Democrats Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Rep. Pramila Jayapal
are joining Senator Bernie Sanders in reintroducing resolutions to stop
all arms sales to Israel ASAP.

[ [link removed] ]Tweet from Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib which reads "Joining Rep.
Jayapal to introduce House versions of Sen. Sanders' JRDs to block the
sale of new bombs and weapons to the Israeli government. With Netanyahu
violating the ceasefire in Gaza and resuming the genocidal bombing
campaign, we need to save lives and stop the killing.

[ [link removed] ]Will you sign our petition to support them before Congress votes on
their resolutions as soon as today?

Since Israel’s government ended the ceasefire and renewed its
indiscriminate attacks on Gaza, they’ve killed another 700 people and
pushed the total Palestinian death toll over 50,000 – nearly a third being
under 18 years old.

On top of that, the Israeli military is still targeting health care and
humanitarian aid workers. They are still burying victims in shallow mass
graves. And they are still blocking all food, medicine, and other aid from
entering Gaza, causing mass starvation and suffering.

What is happening in Gaza is nothing short of genocide and ethnic
cleansing. The United States should be doing everything in its power to
stop this, not continue supplying the bombs and weapons to carry it out.

By forcing a vote on the resolutions to block arms sales to Israel, we
have a chance to stop our country from being complicit in these crimes
against humanity.

petition demanding Congress block any new weapons sales to Israel until a
permanent ceasefire is reached and aid to Gaza is restored?
