He condemned the assault on Social Security, on public education, on health care, on immigrants, and on basic decency itself.
This wasn’t just a filibuster. It was a moral reckoning. A call to action. A demand for every Democrat in Congress to stop pretending we’re living in normal times while fascism grows louder and bolder by the day.
Meanwhile, what did Chuck Schumer do during the government shutdown stand off? He caved. Again. No procedural tactics, no floor fight, just another backroom deal with Republicans while our democracy gasps for air.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer: Cory understands the assignment. It’s time the rest of the Democratic Party did too.

People need to see whose side Democrats are on. Not in closed-door meetings or the occasional Sunday show soundbites, but on the Senate floor, in the halls of Congress, at Town Halls, and across the media, from traditional outlets like the NYTimes to podcasts and TikToc. This is the fight of our lives. Call on every Democrat to act like it.
