We are marching on ICE! Join us in Washington, DC this Saturday and
bring the message directly to the headquarters of the agency most
responsible for carrying out Trump’s wave of repression against
student activists who took a stand against genocide. After gathering
at Pennsylvania Ave and 3rd St NW, we will march to ICE HQ.
We will demand freedom for Mahmoud Khalil, Rumeysa Ozturk,
and Badar Khan Suri -- and an end to the persecution of all students
who are guilty of nothing other than exercising their right to free
speech. This march will send a powerful message that the people of
this country reject Trump's crackdown on the right to protest, just
like we reject our tax dollars being used to massacre people in Gaza.
And we will show solidarity with the millions of immigrant families
who have been targeted by Trump's racist mass deportation
campaign.
The world was shocked when video emerged of plainclothes ICE agents
abducting Rumeysa Ozturk on her way to break her Ramadan fast. We
cannot allow this to become the new normal! We are marching on ICE to
show that we will not let them take away our most basic rights.
Everyone who believes in the First Amendment and opposes genocide
needs to be in DC on April 5. Bus tickets are still available from many of the
30+ transportation centers across the country.
A broad coalition has come together for this pivotal action.
Initial sponsors include the Palestinian Youth Movement, The People's
Forum, the ANSWER Coalition, American Muslims for Palestine, Jewish
Voice for Peace, U.S. Palestinian Community Network, U.S. Council of
Muslim Organizations, U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights,
Palestinian Feminist Collective, AROC Action, Democratic Socialists of
America, and Al-Awda, and many more are joining.
Please make an urgently needed donation today to help
make this demonstration and dozens of buses from across the country
possible.
