"Registration extended through April 4 for State Agency, Local Government, Non-profit Personnel; Small Business Owners; Tribal Governments and Organizations"*  *

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, along with Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis, is hosting the *"3rd Annual Wyoming Funding Summit "**at Central  Wyoming College in Riverton, April 14-17.* Summit attendees will benefit from the opportunity to brush up on grant writing skills and participate in interactive fireside chat break-out sessions regarding Wyoming’s highest priorities, including water and sewer infrastructure; housing, health and social services; agriculture; workforce development; energy; wildfires and emergency management; recreation and tourism. The interactive format will allow participants to ask questions and network and learn from grant recipients and administrators.

Former Wyoming State House Representative, newly-appointed U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 8 Administrator Cyrus Western will deliver keynote remarks the afternoon of April 17.

“I’ve known Cyrus his entire life. His priorities as a legislator were in-line with our top Wyoming interests — from our precious core industries to wildlife and recreation. It will be good to have someone who understands western issues as Region 8 Administrator. I am confident Cyrus will advance the issues of the west,” said Governor Gordon. “Summit attendees will gain from his insights.”

*"Limited space is a"**"vailable for the April 16-17 summit events"* for state agencies, local government and non-profit personnel; small business owners; and tribal governments and organizations. All sessions are free, including lunch and refreshments; however, *prior registration is required by* [ [link removed] ]* Friday, April 4*. Space is no longer available for the April 14-15 sessions.

* An after hours reception sponsored by Hagerty Consulting on April 16 from 5:15-7:30 p.m. at Central Wyoming College for summit attendees and state and federal agency partners.

“The break-out sessions are designed to enhance the transparency of services and resources offered in the State and foster collaboration between and amongst communities,” Christine Emminger, Wyoming Grants Management Administrator said. “The after hours reception will give even greater opportunities to bring people together.”
