For decades, the Department of Education has failed our children—pushing radical agendas like CRT instead of focusing on quality education. Since 1979, it’s grown into a bloated bureaucracy, spending over $80 billion a year while student performance continues to decline.
President Trump’s Executive Order to dismantle the Department of Education and return control to states, parents, and local communities is a necessary step. This isn’t just about cutting waste—it's about ensuring resources actually reach the classrooms where they belong.
Washington’s one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. Instead of taking funds away from families and out of communities to empower another layer of Federal administration, we can empower parents and teachers while ensuring dollars stay local and are directed to kids and teachers in the classrooms. We can promote real academic excellence, and give students the education they deserve. It’s time to put parents and teachers back in charge.
