Thank you for joining CPRE, the countryside charity, as a member. We’re so glad to have you with us.  

Since we were founded almost a century ago, we’ve celebrated how our countryside lifts our spirits - from windswept moors to countryside next door - and we want as many people as possible to enjoy it. 

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing with you more information about what we do, why we do it, showcasing our campaign wins and how your support helps us towards these goals of supporting a thriving countryside. 

We put members’ subscriptions to good use, working with communities and holding government to account to press for positive change and a sustainable countryside. It’s why I’m honoured to be CPRE’s Chief Executive – and proud to be a member. But more importantly, you’ll be standing up for the beautiful countryside we’re so lucky to have.  

We believe in countryside and green spaces that are accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency. We are CPRE, the countryside charity. We want a thriving, beautiful countryside for everyone. 

With a local CPRE group in every county in England, we’re advocating nationwide for the kind of countryside we all want: one with sustainable, healthy communities and available to more people than ever, including those who haven’t benefitted before. 

Because it doesn’t just belong to us, here, now. It belongs to our children and grandchildren.
