Resource Roundup

Resource Roundup Update

Late last year, Families USA conducted a survey to improve this newsletter and how we share resources with you. We combed through the responses and took stock of what you said would be most helpful to improve. We've revamped the design and made changes accordingly, including:

  • More clear delineation for events, action items, and highlighting of new resources
  • Further separating our resources into more specific categories for easier viewing and access
  • Emphasizing the most urgent updates and resources so you can find and use them

We hope you enjoy our new Resource Roundup, and that these changes support your advocacy efforts!

Dear Health Advocates,

The Senate is prepared to advance a modified budget framework this week, with Senate Leader Thune making it clear he wants to begin the process Wednesday and hold a vote-a-rama Thursday or Friday. The House is still working off their framework, but both chambers will have to come to the table and agree on a bill to continue moving forward with reconciliation.

As we've mentioned previously, this timeline is ambitious, and if the budget process doesn't begin this week, the Senate will have just one week to wrap it all up before a 2-week recess. There will be a lot of developments this week, and Families USA will continue to update you as the process moves forward.

This week, there are multiple opportunities for you and your networks to stay engaged in the fight. See these resources and opportunities below:
