Tonight is our very first FEC fundraising deadline of 2025. This will be our first chance to demonstrate how many supporters like you are fighting back under Trump’s second term — and to prove that our progressive movement is stronger than ever.

Right now, here’s how this movement is holding the line for our communities:
We’re fighting for our elders to age with dignity. It’s not enough just to get Trump and Musk to stop attacking critical programs like Social Security and Medicaid. We’re fighting for a world where everyone can grow old.
We’re loudly and proudly fighting for our neighbors in the LGBTQ+ community. Not only for their basic human rights, but for true economic and social liberation.
We’re fighting for the liberation of Black people — not just by pushing back against the anti-Blackness in this administration, but by advancing our vision of a more just world. A world where Black boy joy is a rite of passage, where Black men can grow old, where economic opportunity is a birthright, where reparations are paid for the harm done to our ancestors.
We’re fighting for our immigrant neighbors, undocumented or not.
We’re fighting for our bodily autonomy. For reproductive justice (that protects more than the right to an abortion), for access to birth control and IVF, and for the resources to raise children who are safe, cared for, and well-fed.
We’re fighting for the federal workers who administer essential services to our communities. Not just to get their jobs back, but to strengthen the public schools that educate our babies, to ensure that everyone has a roof over their head, and to get people the social services they need.
When I talk about building opposition against Trump and extremist Republicans, I’m talking about policies that affirm the humanity of every person who calls this country home and help our communities thrive. Our opposition is more than just saying that we’re against Trump. We gotta be for something — not just the bare minimum. That’s what this movement is about.
As your Congresswoman, I promise to continue to fight like hell, because my district and our country depend on it.
Onward,
Ayanna
