Friend, as I send this email we’re about six hours from our first FEC deadline of Trump’s term

What matters here — really — is not what we raised in these first 3 months. This deadline is more about the number of donations we receive, even donations as small as a dollar. What we’re doing every day in the Senate, in Arizona, and all across the country right now is building a movement that will stand up to everything Trump’s trying to do.

That’s why I’m getting on cable news all the time, why I’m doing podcasts and social media, interviews with local and national newspapers, town halls in red parts of my state.

On my campaign, I’d often tell folks that I’d fight alone if I had to, but that we’ll always make more progress together. And the number of donations, the number of individual donors we receive before this FEC deadline are a testament to that. It’s a sign of the team we’ve built, that we are still building. There’s a lot of us — and we’re not giving up.

All I ask before midnight is a donation. A sign of your support as we take on more tough fights in the months ahead. Anything helps, but the donation itself is what’s important today.
