Join the Dialogue to Confront Racism
June 9, 2:30 PM ET

Dear John,

We have been inspired by the response to ASBC’s statement to confront racism. The business community has a vital role in fighting against racism, and it is imperative that we continue this dialogue.

Next Tuesday, June 9th, at 2:30pm EST, ASBC and partners will host a dialogue to discuss action steps for businesses to promote inclusion and equity in the workplace, our economy, and society. We welcome and encourage all to join this important conversation.

This dialogue will be led by MaryAnne Howland, CEO of Ibis Communications and of the Global Diversity Leadership Exchange, and Jeffrey Hollender, CEO and Co-founder of ASBC.

Participants will also break out into smaller groups and voice their own views on what it means for businesses to commit to standing up for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, right now and moving into the future.

We hope that you will join us. The injustices that too many communities have faced for far too long, particularly Black communities, have become painfully and tragically clear in recent weeks. As we note in our statement to confront racism, now is the time to come together to eradicate divisive and racist policy and to unapologetically demand accountability - of overt perpetrators of injustices but also of ourselves as business leaders.
