Young adults have long been Planned Parenthood's target demographic--and its biggest supporters.

But the times are changing.

A massive pro-life realignment--years in the making--is taking hold among Gen Z.

Lars in Tyler, Texas, witnessed the pro-life swing firsthand as a group of LeTourneau University students made his 40 Days for Life vigil the culmination of a spring break pro-life pilgrimage.

The students spent their week volunteering for pro-life organizations and capped the trip with a couple of hours of prayer and singing in front of Planned Parenthood.

"What an awesome group of young adults!" Lars recounted. "I closed my eyes and felt I was in the presence of angels while they sang!"

Students like these are why a generous 40 Days for Life supporter sponsors the annual 4040 Scholarship.

Full-time students at a U.S. college are eligible to apply for the $4,040 scholarship--and to be flown out with a parent to receive the award on stage at the Walk for Life West Coast!

Centralia, Washington

40 Days for Life general counsel Matt Britton's tour of Washington continued with a visit to an "extremely well-run and well-attended" vigil in Centralia.

A passerby shared that his work schedule makes joining the vigil impossible. So instead, he brought coffee for the participants.

A year ago, the man's girlfriend became pregnant. Because the man was using drugs at the time, both she and her parents suggested abortion.

"He was distraught over this and went back to her parents and said that he would promise never to use drugs again if they would promise that she could have the baby," Matt said. "It worked. They all chose life, and the baby was born. He is thankful to 40 Days for Life and the pro-life movement."

In a separate encounter, a vigil participant responded to a pro-abortion demonstrator with love and kindness--softening her heart so much that she packed up and quit her protest!

Rogers, Arkansas

The 40 Days for Life team in Rogers, Arkansas, was thrilled to see Planned Parenthood close early last week...and then not to open at all on Saturday.

And then to be closed earlier this week as well!

One abortion facility has already closed in post-Roe Arkansas. With life protected in the state, how long before Planned Parenthood's temporary closure becomes permanent?

Dear Lord, I surrender my fear to your loving care. Give mothers and fathers the courage to invite you into their lives in good times and bad, and grant them the faith to place their children in your hands. Lead them to doctors who will give their children the very best chance to live. Amen.
