Join Congressman Al Green and Local Leaders for an Empowering
‘Know Your Rights’ Session and Passport Day
in Texas's Ninth Congressional District
(Houston, TX) — On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Congressman Al Green invites the Ninth Congressional District of Texas to two empowering events: a ‘Know Your Rights’ Session at 9:00 a.m. CST and Passport Day from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST. Both will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel – Houston Hobby Airport 8181 Airport Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77061. Appointments for Passport Day are recommended by registering online here; however, walk-ins are welcomed.
The ‘Know Your Rights’ session will include Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, State Representatives Jolanda Jones, Christina Morales, and Lauren Ashley Simmons, Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, as well as Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee to give vital information about rights that all persons in the United States of America have under the Constitution. Following the session, the community is invited to Passport Day, where the Department of State and Homeland Security representatives will assist constituents with multiple travel-related processes, including passport applications, renewals, and global entry interviews.
