Dear friend,

The U.S. government’s decision to end thousands of aid programs will hurt
millions of the most vulnerable families around the world.

These cuts couldn’t come at a worse time: millions of people are displaced
from their homes and in urgent need of support to survive.

Multiple Mercy Corps programs, which had the potential to reach millions
of people this year with vital services, including emergency relief, food
and water, and access to shelter, have been terminated.

These programs not only saved lives but they prevented conflict and
instability and helped communities recover from crises.

Our teams on the ground are fully committed to continuing our work with
local communities to support those in need of assistance. In the face of
aid cuts, supporters like you enable us to continue delivering lifesaving
aid to families in 40+ countries around the world.

A sustained and
predictable source of support is vital during this time of uncertainty to
continue meeting the urgent needs of families. [ [link removed] ]Will you consider
starting a monthly gift to meet the moment and provide critical aid to
families whose lives are on the line?

Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed how these aid programs help
communities access clean water and food and afford basic necessities. They
also provide families and children with a place of refuge — especially in
the face of natural disasters and violence.

In Palestine, for example, over 50,000 Palestinian youth will lose access
to crucial education, mental health and wellbeing support, cutting off
pathways to future employment and hope for the future. In Sudan, up to
40,000 severely malnourished children who could have received lifesaving
Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) will no longer receive it.

I have met families who will be severely impacted by decisions to cut aid—
parents who will watch their children go hungry, people who will lose
loved ones to easily treatable diseases, or refugee families who might
lose access to the lifeline that kept them safe and fed in an entirely new
country.

Our team’s dedication to our mission and continued support for communities
— and the long-lasting impact we are still able to have — is as strong as
ever. We will continue our efforts to deliver lifesaving emergency
assistance to communities impacted by conflict and disaster, including
providing food, water, and shelter to families in need, and helping people
around the world cope, adapt and thrive in the face of ongoing crisis.

We can only make it happen because of you.

I’m grateful for the generosity and commitment of people like you who
continuously show up for families when they need it most.

moment, a gift from you today will make an incredible difference in the
lives of those severely impacted by the recent US foreign aid cuts.
