Representative-Elect Dan Goughnour's victory held the Democratic majority in the PA House, and Senator-Elect James Malone flipped a deep-red Senate seat — in a district Trump carried by 15 points.

The significance of these wins goes beyond Pennsylvania, John. In 2025, Democrats have outperformed in nearly every state legislative election — including the two Virginia special elections we organized in, and in districts that Donald Trump carried.
