💐 Springtime at NPH means it’s time to honor incredible affordable housing leaders in our field! The deadline to register for our 29th Annual NPH Affordable Housing Leadership Awards is coming up soon on Wednesday, April 2.

📓 NPH Trainings: LAST CHANCE for Energy Efficiency Unleashed; Prop 1 Training in April

There’s still time to join us TOMORROW for Energy Efficiency Unleased, happening remotely from 12-1:30PM. Details below, including a Prop 1 training coming up next month:

• ♻️ Energy Efficiency Unleased, TOMORROW, 12-1:30PM This online workshop will explore ways to ease the financial burden of rising energy costs on California's low-income residents and owners. We’ll delve into energy-saving programs and incentive layering, which is the strategy of combining multiple initiatives to maximize benefits and reduce utility costs for affordable housing communities.

• 🧑‍🏫 Prop 1 from a Practitioner Perspective, Wednesday, April 9, 12-1PM This is an online meeting-style NPH Training to learn about exciting potential new developments that have applied for Prop 1 funds and some of the challenges in accessing those same opportunities. We will also discuss possibilities for the remaining funds available.

⏰ Application for Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) CLOSES this Sunday, March 30!

The application to apply to our eighth Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) cohort closes this Sunday, so act fast! (Please review the program description before applying.) The internship spans one year, starting in June 2025 and ending in May 2026.

🤝 What’s BAHIP? BAHIP is a one-year, paid internship designed to recruit and train housing development professionals who will enhance inclusion and racial equity in affordable housing at leading nonprofit housing development organizations. This internship provides a launching pad into an affordable housing development/project management career for Bay Area college students.
