Turning Point USA has always been designed to change the hearts and minds of young people to love their country and everything that makes America great.
That meant going directly to bastions of the Left, like college campuses and universities, to challenge the narrative students are fed on a daily basis at these so-called institutions of "higher education."
For years, EVERY time I went to a campus, I'd be met with fierce resistance from either Leftist protestors or students who simply recited talking points by their America-hating professors.
For years, conservative students rarely dared to express their beliefs or their love of our country on campus out of fear of retribution.
But I knew the ONLY way we could WIN America's future was through winning the culture.
