John, These past few days have been very difficult for us here at Team Hank HQ. We are all figuring out how best to respond, but our grief for Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and the reminder that Black lives in this country are seen as expendable has been immeasurable. Hank has turned his grief into action, creating a pledge for each of us to take to commit to fighting for inclusion. John, he’s calling on all of his supporters like you to help be a part of this solution. Will you join us by taking Hank’s pledge to take personal responsibility for advocating for inclusivity in your own life?
You play a critical role in everything this campaign does -- whether it’s supporting and promoting Hank’s work in Washington or helping us hit important fundraising goals like the one that passed just last Sunday. Now, we need you to help us take a stand in support of Black Americans everywhere who have once again seen their livelihood devalued by our country. Tolerance is simply not enough to help reverse these disturbing trends. In times like these -- when Black Americans are being murdered in broad daylight and the President himself is advocating for fatal violence against protestors -- we must fight for more. We must demand inclusion. We must not let these recent tragedies slow us down in the ongoing fight for justice, acceptance, and inclusion. Take Hank’s pledge to take personal responsibility in your own life toward putting an end to the longstanding inequities Black Americans face.
