Connecticut’s cost of living is out of control. We have the 2nd highest energy costs in the nation and pay the 3rd highest property taxes. Instead of offering relief, Governor Lamont just proposed a $3.2 billion spending increase that cuts key programs for our most vulnerable and does nothing to lower energy costs.

Meanwhile, President Trump is leading the charge against government corruption and waste—from exposing fraud at the Department of Energy (DOGE) to uncovering taxpayer dollars funding radical ideological projects overseas. Connecticut needs leadership that fights for hardworking families, not wasteful spending.

At Connecticut GOP, we are committed to lowering taxes, cutting regulations, and making our state affordable again. Connecticut families deserve better than reckless spending and misplaced priorities.
