Last night we held a town hall in one of the most vulnerable Republican-held districts in our state, John.
David Valadao represents CA-22 and has turned his back on thousands of constituents who depend on Medicaid to survive. All because Donald Trump and Elon Musk want to cut Medicaid to pay for billionaire tax cuts.
So, we showed up to talk to everyday people about it.
We got to hear from countless Californians who are frustrated, scared, and angry with how things are going in this country. And we are going to keep holding Republicans accountable who are enabling the worst impulses of Trump and Elon Musk. Will you rush a rapid response donation to keep funding our town hall events today? [[link removed]]
[link removed] [[link removed]] CHIP IN $ >> [[link removed]]Even though Republicans are telling their U.S. House Members to stop having in-person town halls, we showed up.
We showed up for everyone worried about the Republican plan to cut the phone helplines at the Social Security Administration.
We showed up for the 22 million Americans who could lose their healthcare coverage.
We showed up for everyone dealing with rising grocery prices, including eggs which cost up to $15.
We want to keep holding town halls across the state to speak with everyday Americans and hold the GOP’s feet to the fire. Will you rush a donation so we can keep touring our state, calling out destructive Republican policies? [[link removed]]
