President Trump just called me a “loser” while hosting a press conference in the Oval Office. I’ll admit, it made me laugh. But it’s also a sad reminder of who our President is.

That’s what life is all about for this guy: Pretending to be a big shot. And the entire country is paying the price for his insecurity.

Donald Trump doesn’t care who he hurts as long as he feels special. Everything he’s doing – dismantling the Department of Education, attacking people for who they are and who they love, and picking unnecessary trade wars that are raising costs for working families – is about one thing: his ego.

Well, I don’t give a damn if I hurt his feelings. There’s too much at stake right now. Public education, Social Security, and our fundamental rights, freedoms, and values are all on the line, and I’m not going to sit by quietly.

I’m raising my voice and hosting town halls, making sure that people who aren’t named Donald Trump and Elon Musk have a say in our future. But I can’t do it alone.
