Elon Musk won’t stop until America’s federal government and best public
   services are destroyed, John:
[ [link removed] ]Reuters: Elon Musk says Post Office, Amtrak should be privatized. Mar
6, 2025 — “I think logically we should privatize anything that can
reasonably be privatized,” Musk said at a Morgan Stanley conference.
The unelected billionaire and head of DOGE has already infiltrated
multiple federal agencies and attempted to cut funding to the bone while
conducting mass firings of thousands of workers. His cuts to USAID are
   already having deadly impacts.
Now, it’s no surprise Musk wants to come for Amtrak and the U.S. Postal
Service — two of our most popular and important public services — and turn
them into private businesses to make a profit.
If Musk and DOGE were serious about cutting waste, they should start at
the Pentagon, which has failed 7 audits in a row and has a $850 billion
budget for corporate defense contractors, rather than Amtrak, which is
posting record ridership for everyday people. Or they could look at Tesla,
SpaceX, and Starlink — Musk’s companies have gorged themselves on more
than 38 billion dollars in government contracts since 2008.
[ [link removed] ]We can’t let DOGE take a chainsaw to critical public services like
these. Will you add your name to our petition demanding Democrats defend
Amtrak and the Post Office from Musk’s corporate coup?
