Help safeguard your personal information and prevent identity theft by taking advantage of the Oswego Police Department's free shred event on April 5 [ [link removed] ] [ [link removed] ], organized by the Oswego Police Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (OCPAAA) in partnership with the Rotary Club of Oswego.
Beginning at 9 a.m. at the Oswego Public Works Facility, up to three (3) large boxes full of papers will be accepted per car. The event ends at noon or when the shred trucks are full. The Oswego Public Works Facility is located at 100 Theodore Drive in Oswego. Learn more [ [link removed] ].

2026 Regional Transportation Plan

Have you ever been stuck in traffic? Or had difficulties finding a safe way to walk to your neighborhood store? The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning [ [link removed] ] (CMAP) wants to hear YOUR feedback on where our transportation system needs improvement. They are developing the 2026 Regional Transportation Plan, which will identify improvements in roadway, transit, bike and pedestrian transportation. The plan will recommend how funding should be allocated for transportation projects.
