Fold an origami fox

Get in touch with your wild side and craft your own creature — a fox! With just a few simple folds and a bit of coloring, you can create a little furry friend. Make one for yourself, or make a few and create a skulk of foxes!

What you'll need:


* One square piece of paper
* One marker

Step 1) Gather all of your materials. 

Step 1

Step 2) Fold your paper in half diagonally. Try to match the corners as carefully as possible. The dotted lines in the pictures are where you should fold.

Step 2

Step 3) Lay the triangle flat side down. Fold the right corner to the top of the triangle.

Step 3

Step 4) Repeat step 3 on the left side.

Step 4

Step 5) Flip the square over from right to left.

Step 5

Step 6) Fold the square in half so the folds are to the outside. Rotate the paper so the open piece is at the top.

Step 6

Step 7) Open the folds and stand the paper up on the table. You may need to adjust it a little bit to get it to stand.

Step 7

Step 8) Fold the middle fold down to create the fox face. Then add the nose and ear details!
