Free Legal Services for Eligible LA County Tenants Facing Eviction
 The Tenant Right to Counsel Program provides free legal services to eligible LA County tenants facing Unlawful Detainer (eviction) proceedings.
As of January 1, 2025, under the new Tenant Right to Counsel Ordinance, you may qualify for free legal assistance through Stay Housed LA if you receive an eviction notice and live within unincorporated Los Angeles County. Eviction can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face it alone.
