More than three years later, Ukraine has defied all odds and continues to fight on.
John,
It’s been more than three years since Russia invaded neighboring Ukraine, kickstarting the largest war in Europe in 80 years. Since then, Ukraine has continued to fight for its freedom, standing strong despite immense pressure from Russia and allies alike.
Now, support that Ukraine has relied on is under threat from the Trump administration as it continues to cozy up to Russia.
Opponents of Ukraine aid often fail to grasp how a Russian victory would leave the U.S. worse off economically and politically, from rising food and energy prices to potentially compromising our national security.
Ukraine needs your help, John. Recent polling shows that despite the Trump administration’s recent moves to turn its back on our ally, public support for Ukraine has remained consistent.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t a left vs. right issue — it’s about doing what’s right in the face of wrong.
So if you can, please consider donating to one or more of the following organizations that are sustaining Ukraine’s fight for its independence.
- World Central Kitchen — their initiative #ChefsForUkraine have provided more than 276 million meals to people across Ukraine while continuing to expand existing relief efforts in the country.
- Razom for Ukraine — is dedicated to upholding and contributing to the establishment of a secure, prosperous, and democratic Ukraine. As a 501(c)3 organization, your gifts are tax deductible!
- The Reckoning Project — the Reckoning Project brings on-the-ground investigative journalists who collect witness testimonies and document Russian war crimes and other human rights violations.
- The Kyiv Independent — founded in November 2021 just prior to the invasion, the Kyiv Independent is the premier English language publication producing high-quality, independent journalism during Ukraine’s darkest hours.
- Ukrainian Armed Forces — after three years of war, Ukraine’s forces are continuing to fight the Russian military tooth and nail. This special fund was set up by the National Bank of Ukraine to ensure Ukraine’s armed forces have the resources they need to continue defending their homeland.
With gratitude,
