Congress is in recess this week, and representatives and senators are at home, where they should be meeting with their constituents. At the same time, Donald Trump and Elon Musk and their henchmen continue to destroy our government.
If you’re feeling as angry as we are about Trump and Musk’s freezing of foreign aid, the gutting of USAID, the mass layoffs at critical government agencies, and the cuts to funding for critical research and lifesaving programs, you should attend a town hall and voice your disapproval.

Our friends at Indivisible have supported the organization of many town halls under the theme of “Musk or Us” in the coming weeks. Check out this schedule and sign up [[link removed]] sheet to see if there’s a town hall in your district.
It’s a sad fact that many Republicans in Congress are simply refusing to hold meetings with constituents, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be pressured.
Maybe a neighboring Democrat will be joining an event in your community or you can participate in an “empty chair” town hall to highlight your elected officials absence.
