Team, you may be noticing an influx of emails about the FEC filing deadline in your inbox.

The FEC deadline is 100% real, and a big deal for organizations like ours. But instead of bombarding you with emails to RUSH A DONATION ASAP, here’s a quick breakdown of what an FEC deadline is and why it matters.

If you’d rather skip straight to the endgame: Chip in $13 ($1 for every day between now and March 31st) to help us restore a strong Senate majority. [[link removed]]

If you’re still with us, let’s get into it.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) oversees the money coming into and out of all federal campaigns and PACs.

First, we close our books on the last day of the fiscal quarter (March 31st in this case).

Next , we send a report to the FEC for review. Our report includes the origin, amount, and type of every contribution and expenditure, as well as the total amount raised and spent during the quarter.

Finally, the FEC publishes all reports online for everyone to see. Once it goes public, all our cards are on the table.

A bad quarter could seriously damage Democratic morale and embolden the far right.

A strong quarter, however, sends a message: We are not intimidated by hateful bullies in Washington.

This deadline is our chance to seize the narrative and stage a Democratic comeback in the U.S. Senate. Will you pitch in $13 ($1 for every day between now and March 31st) today? [[link removed]]
