Fellow American,
We still live in a time when the precious gift of life remains under massive
threat, and nowhere is this more evident than in the alarming rise of the
abortion pill.
You may have heard that while the overturning of Roe v. Wade was a significant
milestone for the pro-life movement, an unexpected surge in the use of the
abortion pill has posed new challenges that cannot be ignored.
In 2023 alone, over 1 million abortions took place, including in states where
abortion was "banned", because an increasing number of abortions were carried
out through self-administered medication. This means that despite legal
victories, the reality of abortion persists and threatens to undo the progress
we've made toward a culture that cherishes life.
This issue is not just something that affects our society in abstract terms —
it hits home. It affects you, your family, and your community. The fact is,
many women choose the abortion pill without fully understanding the emotional,
physical, and spiritual consequences.
These decisions often happen quickly, driven by fear and a lack of support,
leaving lifelong scars both visible and invisible.
As someone who values life, perhaps you've seen the pain that these decisions
can bring to families. Maybe you worry about how easy access to abortion pills
could influence the young people in your life, or how it might pressure women
you care about into making decisions without being fully informed or supported.
The truth is, the impact of the abortion pill ripples through communities,
affecting relationships and futures.
