Salaam John,

At Emgage Action, we believe in the fundamental rights of free speech and due process for all. That’s why, alongside our advocates and coalition partners, we took action to urge congressional offices to support a critical letter demanding accountability for the detention and attempted deportation of Mahmoud Khalil.

The congressional letter, led by Representatives Pramila Jayapal, Jamie Raskin, and Mary Gay Scanlon, calls for transparency and justice in Khalil’s case. We are deeply grateful to the officials who signed on, taking a stand for civil liberties and human rights. We want to take a moment to recognize our endorsees who signed this letter and express our gratitude for your support—your voice has never been more important.
