Dear Friend,

Last week, DC showed up to fight for our autonomy! Day after day, DC residents and their families called Senators, visited offices, and demanded DC's right to control our own funding. And we were heard! A standalone bill protecting DC's FY25 budget passed the Senate with no opposition. You can read all about it here.

So many organizations and individuals joined the fight - huge shout out to every union, organization, PTA, and group that turned up!
