Dearest Friends,

I’m Brit, and I’m JanePAC’s Creative Director 👋🏻👋🏻 I’m the staffer proudly tasked with reading every unconscionable executive order, summarizing them, and then designing graphics for those summaries — all so you have access to vetted, brief, and climate-forward synopses of what Trump and his cronies are up to.

Well, that’s the thing I’ve been doing a lot of lately. In more normal times, I run JanePAC’s social media, do our in-house graphic design, manage our in-house copywriting, and work directly with our endorsed candidates on all things creative.

This week marks my one-year anniversary fighting for climate justice with JanePAC and, looking back, I'm super grateful for the incredible journey we've shared! Together, we've achieved some really remarkable things:

Follow JanePAC on Instagram!
  • Over 6 million impressions: Our message of electing climate champions at all levels of government has resonated far and wide, reaching millions across social media platforms.

  • Hundreds of thousands of engagements: You've liked, shared, commented, and reacted, demonstrating the power of our collective voice.

  • Thousands of actions taken: From signing petitions, to donating, to volunteering — your engagement has translated into real-world impact.

These numbers are a testament to the incredible work we've done, building community and fostering a powerful movement for our shared home 🌍 and for one another.

RIP Twitter

We've had some great wins, but I want to mention (and mourn) that we lost a valuable space for organizing and connecting last year. Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter (now known as “X”) created a hostile environment for many — in a space that was once a vibrant hub for justice seekers.

But fear not! Jane, and I, are not deterred. I’m excited to announce our transition to BlueSky in 2025.

  • What is BlueSky? It’s a decentralized social media platform that prioritizes user control, privacy, and open-source principles. It's designed to be a more equitable and inclusive space for all.
  • Why BlueSky? We believe that it offers a safer and more empowering environment for organizations and individuals working towards justice.

Celebrate my anniversary with me by joining us on BlueSky, and let’s continue to build a stronger, more connected climate movement — together.

With gratitude for a wonderful first year by your side,

Brit

🍼 P.S. I can’t talk about this year without mentioning… I’m having my first BABY!

In 2025, JanePAC is welcoming our tiniest member, and I want you to know that, for me, motherhood is maybe the most important extension of my work as an activist. This little person is my greatest reason to fight like hell, and just like Jane said after the presidential race in November: I’m going to hold the lineand be a mama. Have tips and tricks for raising a climate-conscious little one? Feel free to reply to this email to share them with me!
