Billionaire Elon Musk has essentially been handed the keys to the kingdom in his role as unelected, unaccountable bureaucrat/righthand man of President Trump. He’s wasted no time using his sweeping power and influence on President Trump to reshape our federal government as he sees fit — and I’m deeply concerned seniors’ earned benefits could get caught up in the chaos.

Aside from making recommendations on how to cut as much as $2 trillion from the federal budget through his so-called “Department of Government Efficiency,” Musk has demanded and received access to federal payment systems which include Social Security payments.

This means that an unelected billionaire and his newly installed minions in the Treasury Department now have the ability to stop payments for any federal program they dislike, including Social Security. |

Why does Musk need access to a system that holds your personal data, including your Social Security number and banking information, and cuts all the checks that our federal government issues? One possibility is that he wants to ensure our government finds enough “savings” to help pay for a massive extension of tax breaks for millionaires, billionaires and huge profitable corporations. |
That’s why I need you to remind your elected officials in Congress that they hold the power to approve government funding — not billionaire right-wing extremists like Elon Musk who has received billions of dollars in government handouts for his companies Tesla and SpaceX!
