The AZ Senate has passed a lot of legislation this year to strengthen Arizona's defense of our Southern border. Some will still get vetoed by Democrat Gov. Hobbs, but we CANNOT lay around and wait.
We MUST take action now.
A few weeks ago, I went back to Sasabe AZ, on the border, to show you how the evidence of massive illegal immigration was now gone- the illegals aren't coming anymore.
Now we are left with a still huge problem- a war on the border between heavily armed cartel soldiers, and American Border Patrol agents.
This is why we MUST take this seriously. Ben Bergquam from RAV has done EXCELLENT reporting on the border.
He showed a valley where active battles are taking place between cartel soldiers, armed with the same weapons and drones we sent to Ukraine, and our Border Patrol.
This is shocking. The cartels have declared war on us. If we LOSE this war, imagine what will happen to the American citizens in Arizona.
That is why we passed legislation to help AZ law enforcement - especially rural sheriffs - share intelligence on sophisticated criminal organizations like the cartels and Tren de Aragua. We want Arizona LEOs to give maximum help in the war against the cartels.
In Arizona, we are on the front lines of a battle with an army that will respect no treaty, that is better armed with most armies around the world WITH OUR OWN WEAPONRY, and lacks any restraint or remorse.
For Arizona to return to normal, we must defeat this enemy. They are attacking our borders and penetrating into Arizona. Border Patrol isn't enough. Arizona LEOs MUST join the fight.
