The truth is, I grew up in a Reagan-Republican household. I’m a Democrat
because, as a labor leader, I saw firsthand that Democrats were the ones
trying to protect my firefighters and working-class families just like
them.

Over the past several decades, Democrats have led the way in prioritizing
working families, investing in good union jobs, and championing a living
wage. The Trump administration wants to see all that progress erased.
