Did you miss this, John?

The Supreme Court has gutted a key part of the Clean Water Act and made it easier for polluters to dump toxic waste into our rivers, lakes, and coastlines.

Long story short: This is urgent.

Congress can act, but only if enough of us demand it. We need to show them we won’t sit back while our waterways turn into dumping grounds.

If you haven’t signed our petition yet, now is the time. Add your name to demand Congress restore Clean Water Act protections! [[link removed]]

🚨 The Supreme Court just made it harder for environmental regulators to limit water pollution. Demand Congress restore Clean Water Act protections NOW! [[link removed]]

John, Trump’s hand-picked Supreme Court judges gutted a key component of the Clean Water Act and stripped the EPA of its power to enforce critical protections for our waterways.

This decision is exactly what Big Oil and polluters wanted.

Here’s what happened and why it matters:

* The Court ruled in favor of San Francisco, saying the EPA’s permit system was too vague to enforce against wastewater pollution. That means cities and industries now have more leeway to pollute rivers, lakes, and coastlines without clear consequences.

* The Clean Water Act was created because of public outrage over toxic pollution in rivers like the Hudson. In 1972, Congress gave the EPA power to regulate wastewater and hold polluters accountable — leading to cleaner water across the country. This ruling could roll back decades of progress.

* Polluters are celebrating, because this ruling opens the door for even more legal challenges to environmental laws — weakening climate protections at a time when we should be strengthening them.

* This decision goes beyond major cities. It erodes protections for small towns and rural communities that rely on clean water for drinking and agriculture. The burden of pollution will hit these communities the hardest.

Congress has the power to act, and we need to show them just how many of us demand stronger clean water protections.

Add your name to demand Congress reinstate critical Clean Water Act protections and stop corporations from dumping toxic waste into our waters. [[link removed]]
