Kennedy Links Measles Outbreak to Poor Diet and Health, Citing Fringe Theories Source: The New York Times Robert Kennedy Jr. fails predictably as measles outbreak spreads Source: MSNBC Texas measles cases grow to 223, mostly among children and teens Source: ABC News

The health of our children is in peril as RFK Jr. leads our federal health department. Measles is a preventable disease that we should not have to worry about, and yet here we are.

We can’t just blame RFK Jr. Republican Senators like Dr. Bill Cassidy knew of RFK Jr.’s proven track record of spreading anti-vaccine misinformation and still confirmed him. NOW, measles is spreading at a rapid rate in Texas and we are stuck with a health leader who consistently undermines vaccines.

Chip in anything you can to our Call Out Dr. Cassidy Fund to hold him and the Republican senators accountable for putting anti-vaccine RFK Jr. in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) amid a health crisis in America. Call Out Dr. Cassidy

As a doctor myself, it astounds me that Bill Cassidy, a doctor who did vaccine research, would bend to political pressure from Trump’s allies and confirm RFK Jr.

Cassidy said he would use his authority as Chairman of the Senate Committee that oversees the HHS to protect vaccines and to rebuff misinformation. But where is he now as RFK Jr. continues to spread dangerous misinformation?

RFK Jr. promoted Vitamin A as a way to manage measles, said it’s ‘almost impossible’ for an infectious disease to kill a healthy person, and tried to link measles to bad diets. Children are suffering from a preventable disease due to false rhetoric like this and it must be stopped.

Together we must call out Dr. Cassidy to honor his commitment to public health and be held accountable for confirming the unqualified RFK Jr. to the highest healthcare position in the country. Join us in the fight today to safeguard the health of all children.

Until the kids are alright,
