Sean McMeekin—our 2025 winner of the Conservative Book of the Year Award—will be speaking on his book To Overthrow the World: The Rise and Fall and Rise of Communism.

McMeekin’s book explores the dark legacy of communism, from its origins in Marxist theory to its devastating execution under Stalin and Mao. Despite the collapse of the USSR, McMeekin reveals how communism has persisted as a force in global politics.
