Rule Review Notification
Thank you for signing up to be notified when the Regulatory Compliance Division of the Office of the Governor commences a review of a proposed rule. Established pursuant to Subchapter C, Chapter 57, Texas Occupations Code, the Regulatory Compliance Division conducts an independent review of certain state agencies’ proposed rules that affect market competition to assess their consistency with state policy as clearly articulated by the Legislature in state statute.
The Regulatory Compliance Division has recently commenced review of and is currently accepting public comments on the following rule:
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy, Title 22 Texas Administrative Code §291.133. Public comments will be accepted through March 12, 2025.
The proposed amended rule generally updates the personnel, environment, compounding process, cleaning and disinfecting, beyond-use dating, cleansing and garbing, environmental testing, sterility testing, recall procedure, and recordkeeping requirements for pharmacies compounding sterile preparations.
