Friend, with the primary exactly one week away, we had to make absolutely certain you had seen the news:

Our opponents have poured over $1.5 million of their own money into this primary for one final media blitz. We are proud to be the campaign that has raised the most money from Georgians, but with this breaking news we are at risk of having our message drowned out.

We cannot let personal wealth drown out the voices of the people of Georgia, which is why we are once again asking you to make a donation today to keep us competitive on the airwaves. Please contribute whatever you can afford — your donation will go directly into this week’s media budget.

Friend, the headline in this morning’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution reads: “Amico, Ossoff stroke big checks in final stretch of Senate primary.”

Every Democrat in this race shares a commitment to defeating David Perdue in November, but it will take a candidate with a grassroots movement to do it.

I haven’t written myself a $450,000 check to buy TV ads. I haven’t self-financed $1.1 million to win this seat. I don’t take corporate PAC money. But our campaign has raised over $2.5 million, including the most money of any campaign from Georgians by a significant margin.

Georgians know we need a leader with experience, who has won elections, and governed well to beat an entrenched incumbent with the backing of the most powerful people in the Republican Party. That’s why so many thousands of you have invested in our campaign.

The people of Georgia must decide this race, friend. I’m counting on you to give our campaign the resources to counter the six-figure checks my opponents have written to pay for expensive TV ads in this final week. Will you donate to our campaign today?
