John — for this first time in AMERICAN HISTORY, we elected TWO Black women to serve together in the Senate!
THIS IS A HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT! Black women are finally getting more representation in the US Senate, and Senators Angela Alsobrooks and Lisa Blunt Rochester are doing INCREDIBLE work.
But Black women still deserve more representation. Two Black women in the Senate is not enough.
Our goal is to eventually elect a whole SLATE of Black women to the Senate. That work starts today. Will you chip in to help raise $10,000 to our Elect Black Women fund by midnight?
We know accomplishing this goal won’t be easy, and we know it isn’t going to happen overnight.
But to create radical progress, you have to first IMAGINE what a better world looks like and NAME it.
It may take time — it will DEFINITELY take a heck of a lot of money — but we CAN do this.
